Vehicles in German Town Discovered Covered with Swastikas in Human Blood, Police State

Incident location Affected vehicle Area Police
Police reported they were alerted by a individual who found a car in Hanau covered with red-colored substance

Approximately 50 automobiles have been marked with what appears to be blood from a person in the Germany's municipality of Hanau near Frankfurt, police confirm law enforcement.

Vehicles, walls and postal boxes were defaced, occasionally with swastikas, they announced in a official communication.

Officers say they were contacted during the night on Wednesday, when a individual noticed that a car in the Lamboy district of Hanau had been marked with a red-colored substance.

The substance had been applied in the pattern of a swastika, they stated.

Law enforcement then discovered many other vandalized vehicles and house walls in the adjacent neighborhood.

These symbols are banned in Germany under laws prohibiting the visible presentation of Nazi symbols.

Police report initial examinations suggest the substance was most likely human bodily fluid.

"At present there remains no lead as to its source; investigators are currently not informed of any injuries in association with the occurrence," they stated.

Local authorities stated they were working "to unravel the mystery" and have requested to the public for details.

A senior official said the incident made him stunned and had to be addressed promptly.

"This act affects the center of Hanau and reawakens the pain of the extremist terrorist attack in 2020," he posted on social media, recalling the killing of nine individuals by a shooter targeting people of migrant background in 2020.
